Free Online Parent Learning Series
Information for Parents: Upcoming Title III Parent Event for Emergent Bilingual Services
In Texas, students who are learning English while also developing their home language are called Emergent Bilinguals. On September 24, 2025, the Texas Education Agency Emergent Bilingual Support Division will provide a parent engagement event that will focus on informing parents and families of services, supports, and resources available to them to help students learn and understand English and support learning in math, science, reading, and other subjects.
If you are interested in participating, you can register and attend via ZOOM or attend a "Watch Party" at the Refugio ISD Administration Building on Wednesday, September 24 from 12:30-2PM.
